PAEDIATRIC SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (ENTRY LEVEL) — LAKE MACQUARIE A Growing Understanding | Lake Macquarie, NSW Full-time or Part-time | New Graduate / Early Career Welcome ABOUT THE ROLE A Growing Understanding (Lake Macquarie) is looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our supportive, child- and family-centred team. This role is ideal for a new graduate or early career clinician who wants strong mentoring, a staged caseload, and CPD perks that actually help you grow. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING - Provide assessment and therapy for children (clinic and/or community/schools depending on your interests) - Use evidence-informed approaches and family-centred practice - Coach parents/carers and collaborate with educators where appropriate - Plan therapy goals, track progress, and write reports as required - Maintain timely notes and documentation - Participate in supervision, case discussions, and team learning PRESENTATIONS YOU MAY WORK WITH (INTEREST-LED) - Speech sound disorders - Language delay / developmental language disorder - Early communication support - Literacy foundations - Social communication / autism support - Feeding support (optional / based on interest) WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Degree-qualified Speech Pathologist (eligible for SPA membership) - New graduates / early career clinicians encouraged to apply - Warm, child-friendly communication style and a growth mindset - Willingness to learn, ask questions, and build confidence - Driver’s licence (helpful depending on community/school work) CPD + SUPPORT PERKS - Structured supervision (weekly/fortnightly) + “as-needed” clinical support - CPD allowance and/or paid CPD time (details discussed at interview) - Access to internal training, resource library, and shared programs - Regular case reviews and mentoring - Clear pathway to develop your niche interests (AAC, early language, literacy, feeding, neurodiversity-affirming practice) ROLE DETAILS - Location: Lake Macquarie, NSW - Employment: Full-time preferred, part-time considered - Start: Flexible - Remuneration: Competitive, with progression based on experience and growth HOW TO APPLY Hit me up in DM's
